The Foreign Language Club was founded in 1987-88, the purpose of FLC was to promote cultural activities at the meetings and to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Christmas celebrations from other countries,  Mardi Gras, and Cinco de Mayo. Students also get the benefit of being part of an extra-curricular activity that will help them when applying to colleges and universities of their choice.

There is a board selected by the sponsor Mrs. Ramirez and then officers are selected from the board. The officers learn leadership skills and conduct the meetings. Seniors are eligible to earn red stoles as long as they attend two meetings in one year and are good standing members. Dues of $10.00 must be paid yearly to be a good standing member.
